High intensity tanning beds allow you to tan faster and darker, which is said to reduce the possibility of a sunburn. Often referred to has high pressure tanning, many salons allow their intermediate or advanced tanners to “graduate” to this higher pressure after having first started out on the low-pressure beds.
High intensity beds work just as their low intensity counterparts — by using UV lights to stimulate the melanin in our skin, causing a tanning reaction. Not only are they as safe as low-pressure beds, but take less
time and limit exposure. This is much better for your skin and
delivers greater results.

- Type 1 1-3 minutes for several weeks then increase by 1 minute a week Do not exceed 5-8 minutes
- Type 2 2-4 minutes for several weeks, increase 1 minute a session after that
- Type 3 4-8 minutes for several weeks, adding 1 minute a session after that
- Type 4 4-9 minutes for a week then increase as needed
- Type 5 4-10 minutes increase by 2 minute intervals

If it is your first time tanning start for 5 minutes in our level two and increase 2 minutes every week. If you get burned take a day off and remember you can't tan more than once in 24 hours. If you have any medical concerns consult your doctor.

Exfoliate and clean your skin before tanning. Use lotion used specifically for indoor tanning. Wear goggles! Move around in the bed to avoid pesky wrinkle lines.
